KBSI was awarded the Phase II technical effort for the Generative System for Integrated Synthetic Air Defense Scenarios (GenSIS) in June 2025. GenSIS is a technical solution to provide a necessity in Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training scenario development, which is scenario diversification. To maintain training alignment with up-to-date problem sets, global situations, and adversary evolution without compromising on the core objectives of the training, agile scenario authoring and modification tools are required to balance exercise parameters. GenSIS performs this role, identifying simulation component dependencies while allowing developers to rapidly refine models to adapt to developing requirements. Its features include an adaptive AI model for generating diverse, high-quality scenarios in near real-time, a novel reinforced sequence training method for enhanced model precision, and rapid scenario validation through a dedicated air defense training ontology. Furthermore, it incorporates a sophisticated communication assessment capability that leverages cutting-edge speech-to-text technology and natural language understanding methods to analyze and integrate voice communications, considering the aspects of state, space, and time.
