Hybrid Framework for Information Visualization Enablers (HI-FIVE)
The HI-FIVE project is designing a novel, model-based, “no-programming required” approach to information visualization that provides an extendible framework for rapidly developing, configuring, and managing displays that enable the rapid and actionable understanding of “system of systems” data.
Information Integration for Concurrent Engineering (IICE)
The IICE program built the engineering foundations, Integration Definition (IDEF) methods and tools, and migration frameworks for next-generation engineering, manufacturing, and logistics environments.
Virtual Enterprise Engineering Environment (VE3)
The VE3 project developed a groupware-based collaborative process definition, design, and engineering environment in support of a "Virtual Enterprise" (VE) that facilitates collaboration among multiple enterprises.
Supply Support Integrated Process Team (SSIPT)
The SSIPT project joined simulation modeling and data warehousing in developing a system that both provides visibility of data and inventory in a single "virtual" database and allows for testing of supply support processes against a wide variety of scenarios.
Framework Programmable Software Development Platform (FPP)
The FPP project used an integration environment approach to automate software development process management and to eliminate costly mistakes early in the development life cycle.
Intergrated Product Data Environment (IPDE)
The IPDE project studied a concept for integrating legacy product data and providing easy access to this data across a network for engineers.
Multimedia Interactive Data Acquisition System Drilling Simulator (MIDAS-DS)
MIDAS-DS developed computer based training tools to help drilling engineers and technicians mitigate, in real time, potential problems encountered during drilling operations.
Conceptual Design Environment for Manufacturing Engineering (MECDE)
The MECDE project developed effective conceptual-design aids by investigating the role of shape in the concept development stage of the design process.
Contract Out Reverse Engineering Advisory System (COREAS)

The COREAS provided a COTS-based CALS solution for reverse engineering distributed engineering and management data at the Oklahoma City-Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB.

Conversion of Scanned Engineering Drawings to Product Data Descriptions (PGED)

The PGED project developed a knowledge-based engineering drawing conversion architecture approach to create a solution that encompassed the complete scope of the legacy data conversion problem.

Design Knowledge Management System (DKMS)

The DKMS project developed a system for concurrent engineering that includes a processable representation of what it means to design (Design Ontology), a design rule base of stable rules of design (Design Base), and a repository for design objects.
