Overview

The Kit Content History Reporting Tool (KCHR) is used for recording and tracking the history of parts activity within shop kits and for generating detailed, web-based reports of this data.

Central to the KCHR concept is the use of eKits--electronic, interactive records that capture the status of parts. Each eKit has a corresponding physical kit on the shop floor, and the eKits are used to record the current status and history of kits in regard to their constituent parts.

KCHR not only allows users to create electronic records of all kitting activity on the shop floor, but also stores this data and can compile detailed, web-based reports of kit activity for a wide range of data parameters including material disposition, kit contents, storage locations, status history, and part shortages.

KCHR provides:

Tear down data capture

Defered parts order tracking

Order placement and fulfillment tracking

Parts rob tracking

Real-time asset visibility

Parts allocation decision support/what-if analysis
