TAURUS is a computer system developed for Southern Union Gas that identifies and reports unaccounted-for gas and provides their accounting department with a purchase ledger to handle gas transactions. Using database connectivity, the system integrates gas transportation data with sales and accounting information for the purpose of reconciling unaccounted for gas.
