Overview
Corpus Christi Army Depots (CCAD) ability
to maintain the aging UH-60 weapon system is complicated by
a widely fluctuating workload, an increased dependence on
inadequate legacy systems, and incompatible data sources and
data handling systems. These shortcomings create significant
inefficiencies and delays in the UH-60 repair turn-around
time.
KBSI's goal in this project was to develop a
plan that, when implemented, would result in a 30% overall
reduction in repair cycle time and an increase in asset visibility,
quality improvement, and reduction in work lost due to technicians
waiting for parts (AWP) in the UH-60 Airframes Shop at CCAD.
