Governments around the world are increasingly applying successful commercial business practices in improving their own day-to-day operations. has supported this trend by introducing new business initiatives and directives in projects with several U.S. and foreign defense agencies, industries, and suppliers. This work includes risk evaluation and analysis, lead time analysis and reduction, manufacturing facility analysis, and a host of continuous process improvement initiatives for planned and implemented systems.

Workload Transition Testbed (WTT) for PDM Simulation
The WTT tool allows the Air Force to anticipate and assess the impact of workload maintenance changes.
Reliability Centered Maintenance Costing (RCMC)

The RCMC project is developing the methods and tools needed to support the critical knowledge discovery, cost modeling, and maintenance cost projection needed by Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) decision makers.

Framework for Adaptive Modeling and Ontology-driven Simulation (FAMOS)
FAMOS is a system for the development and execution of distributed military simulation applications that will greatly reduce the time and effort required for developing and deploying such applications.
Data Display Translation Framework (DDTF)

The DDTF project developed an advanced framework for data display translation focused on aircraft/space T&E environments.

Process Improvement-B210 Reject Reduction
An engineering management approach that improved the management and maintainance of facilities and equipment for executing aircraft production workload.
Pathfinder Equipment Ranking/Prioritization Tool (ERT)

The Pathfinder ERT project provides automated decision support for evaluating equipment downtime costs, performing econimic analyses of select equipment, and for analyzing equipment needs.

Pathfinder Workflow Plan Tool (WPT)
The Pathfinder WPT project developed a software application which will improve Blade Shop efficiency, reduce work in progress (WIP), and assist in level work loading in CCAD maintenance shops.
Pathfinder Equipment Downtime Impact Assessment Tool (EDIAT)
The Pathfinder EDIAT project developed a cost-of-equipment-downtime assessment tool to be used by the facilities engineering branch at OC-ALC.
Kit Content History Reporting Tool (KCHR)
KCHR developed technology for recording and tracking the history of parts activity within shop kits and for generating detailed, web-based reports of this data.
Electronic Enterprise-wide Planning and Management System (e-TEAM)
An electronic enterprise-wide planning and management system that uses wireless-web, handheld based technology to track and manage aircraft maintenance.
IDEF3/XML RampMap™ Technology (RampMap™)
An electronic "whiteboard" that allows managers to identify the status of aircraft on the ramps and plot projected aircraft moves.
Lean Logistics Simulation (LLSIM)
LLSIM investigated simulation-based decision suppport of depot maintenance and repair activities and developed an information system that supports these activities.
