Advanced Critical Part Management

LVC System Architecture

The Lean Value Chain (LVC) initiative is a three-year program that supported the analysis of critical part management at CCAD and Tinker AFB. Results of this analysis include the implementation of technologies and process improvements supporting critical part anticipation, solution presentation and solution management oversight. The initiative also leveraged and implemented principles of advanced supply chain management throughout the program.

In the first year of the effort, KBSI focused on identifying the current and required practices associated with the critical part value chain. A solution demonstration was provided in a selected area of analysis, and plans for technology implementation and process improvement were generated, driving the requirements for years two and three of the initiative.
